CCAT / MiniCog Testing.

Been asked to complete CCAT , MiniCog and personality test for a medium role. Part of me says "hmmm interesting, wonder what I'd score", another part says "Hmmm I don't like being tested in such a LAB RAT kinda way" and the last and more resonant part says "I do not wish to work for a company that decides to lab-rat its potential employees as it cannot bode well for a good working relationship going forward".

I honestly don't actually mind taking the test, I think the results would be interesting, the test in itself its not really the issue, its about the dynamics of a company employing such methods of recruitment. The Victor Meldrew side of me is rebelling.... :) Am I being irrational ?

    Thanks

    Yes, you're being irrational.

They could just interview you and see if they like the look of your face ... no bother about whether you have characteristics that indicate you will be able to do the job.

Or they could attempt to use some more objective tools.
