change to one way traffic system in sandyford ind estate.

    What fool came up with idea of changing the one system of traffic at Microsoft in sandy ford Ind estate? Last night it took me 15 minutes to get to the sandyford luas stop from the beacon hospital. I am usually in blackrock at this time. Traffic was normal also. I also hear they doing something with the roundabout at leopardstown too and that will take 13 months to complete.

    Yeah I noticed that the other day... thought it was a brilliant idea at first but that was until I got stuck in traffic for a few minutes this morning... and this happened at 8 am, I can't imagine how bad things must be at 8.30am... too many traffic lights IMO

    The thing that messes up the roundabout is the fact that there are signalized pedestrian crossings on it. Totally destroys the capacity

    What they have done with Blackthorn road is a joke, they have reintroduced a two way system. So its now single lane heading past the Microsoft building towards the Reservoir/Luas.

    Before there was a lane for right (Slow at rush hour) and left (Moved quite well). I used to take the left as it flowed quite well but now your stuck with the congestion heading right towards leaopardstown. There is a slip to go left but it starts far too late.

    What a mess!

    In fairness that roundabout was messed up before that anyway. The pedestrian crossings have just made it worse.

    The new two way system in front of miscrosoft is a disaster, all the traffic from the beacon, leopardstown roundabout, carmanhall road trying to converge into one lane.
    who makes these decisions. do these people actually live/work in the area.
