Hi, hope someone out there can help me. Just upgraded to new sky box today but as my TV is old it does not support hdmi, I need to scart box to TV. But with the video sender ( for the bedroom) also needs scart but new box only supports one device with scart. Please can anyone help me to work the 3 devices .

The new Sky box also has a yellow round connector marked video and red and while connectors for sound.

In any TV shop you can buy a round connector (phono) to scart lead, This works the same as Scart, so as such the box has two connectors for older TVs.

    See here for more info:

Thank a mil but I should of mentioned I tried a scart to triple phono lead but to no avail.... I've also tried a triple scart plug with 1 in scart , 1 out scart and 1 each way scart.

run a coax from the sky box to the other room and use a magic eye to control it far better than a video sender.

When you use a proper scart lead and turn on the Sky box the TV will automatically change to "AV"

With the phono to Scart you need to manually select AV using the original TV remote (not the Sky remote) to see the Sky picture.

Just be aware many adapter leads have phono's marked video in and another marked video out. Only one of them is the one you want and it can be difficult to know which one to use without trial and error.

If you have a lead with scart at one end and out only leads then it may not work, as that is designed to send the signal one way, while you want to send it the other way.

If totally stuck a TV installer should be able to help sort it out.
