its not even a civic type R! its a rep 1.4! with 100,000 miles on it and 10 years old i wouldnt give him 3500. 2700 at most im afraid but im not expert ;).

Plus its quite tacky man! Look around donedeal more. im sure you could get a nicer and cheaper one if you look hard enough!

€3500 is still too much for what it is! alloys are horrible aswell! id back up my previous post and say 2700 or under. That car aint worth that money in my opinion.

If it was a Type R it would be worth it. The fact that its a replica means that I would run an absolute mile. If you want a Type R replica buy a clean 1.4 and do it yourself; at least you will know what goes into it and what has been done to it.

I don't get people that do up a bog spec standard car to look like the performance version, maybe just use the money to save for the real thing or go back afew years ?

    This is a real EP3.

This is a EK9, which would be in your price range.

This is an EG6, not a Type R officially but it's the performance orientated EG.

    So?

The white wheels are horrific IMO. They look so tacky. Incidentally the modified one is the only one without them, though I see the owner has succeeded in finding something equally tacky in black.

Well seeing as how you only come here to complain about drivers and driving (you said it, not me), I can see why you wouldn't appreciate them.

Anyone who bases their opinion on an EK9 on looks has obviously never driven one and never will.

Maybe its just me but I absolutely hate it when people describe cars, especially ones that are not badly modified, as being "skanger" cars or whatever; just displays a real closed minded attitude towards motoring and peoples tastes.

For what its worth it is my opinion that the EK9 is quite possibly the nicest hatchback that has ever been made.

Regardless of the skanger comments, anyone else think that every car posted on this thread is over priced? And some of the ridiculously so?

I don't know my chap stuff I'll admit, but god damn the 3 Cian posted seem like mental money.

They're among the cheaper ones on DD but then, they are stupid DD prices.

You could pick up an EK9 for ~€3000 but it would probably need some work, same with DC2's.

    I absolutely ADORE the ep3's :D

Never driven one but would love to and i really like how they look!
My mechanic bought an ek3 to turn into a track car, hes after buying a turbo conversion kit for it, cant wait to see what its like! Its already a 2 seater with a roll cage and proper racing seats :)

    Heres a pic of it

Its not a 1.6 dohc its a 1.5 sohc but still be a bitta craic!

Not that particular eg6, but a nice one is a lovely car.

But i think all white cars are pants. Full Stop.

Look for that shape in an esi. (common in uk) 125bhp and not going to cost any more to insure if you tell the insurance that your 1.4 is a type r lookalike (look at my racing brakedrums on the back wow). Not the screamer a type r/vti is, but a lovely torquey quickish car.

Yeah think so. In my opinion they are not skanger car's as they all most likely have the performance to match the looks.

A 1.4 VW Bora with quad exhausts and the works is a skanger car, ie one that is all show and no go.

Those three Honda's are gorgeous and I'm not even a Jap fan!

Well you can take the term standard with a pinch of salt.
I'd say they all have intake and exhaust mod's too. :D
