Hi folks. Thinking of replacing my 20 year old boiler. Its very noisy on start up and i reckon as the house is rented out it might be safer and more economical just to replace. Standard 3 bed semi. Any suggestions as to where to go? Or what to do? Thanks

Get 3/4 quotes. Ask family and friends for recommended plumbers. Ask for references and trade qualifications and insurance details. Rgi registered.

Viessmann, Ariston, Worcester are great boilers. Installers worth there weight would power flush the system as a given when changing a boiler and would be included in there price but make sure. It cleans the system completely and leaves no chance of gunck getting into the new boiler. You also want an A rated boiler. Some guys are pushing B rated boilers but why spend that money on something thats not an A.
