hotels that allow dogs

few months ago we got to take our dog on a short break with us to Wicklow to the Brooklodge hotel and we were allowed to keep her in the room with us. it was the first time we had staying in such a hotel before and it was great!
Anyone know of other hotels that cater for pets and allow them to stay in room with you?

Cahir House Hotel in Tipp allow dogs. Oz had great fun there!

Wyatt hotel, in Westport (on the Octagon) have 2 dog-friendly rooms.
They have exits onto the carpark, and you bring doggie in that way, not through the public areas.
costs an additional €10 a night.
