Is there cold bridging at the joint of this passive door detail?

Hi, passive rated triple glazed windows and doors arrived on site. The front door which is all glazing , 6 ft width, came in 3 sections. To be assembled on site using lengths of pvc H section and sealant. This is an entire full height of the door of a cold bridge, twice, as there is a section each side of the main door.

    Im aiming for passive standard.

Would this be an issue regards the overall performance of the door?

Plus im losing an amount of glazing due to the bulk of the joint.

    thank you.......:)

Hi, The trim will have an effect on the performance if it was not included in the original design calculations. If you are going for the passive standard, have you a passive house consultant on board to help as he/she would have worked out this detail in advance for you.
