The vaccinations aren't mandatory by the way, it's up to you. In any case some vaccines like typhoid take 2 weeks to take affect.

From the UK's fit for travel website

I'd say you'd be absolutely fine for travelling without any vaccinations.

Am not a GP but someone who travels worldy & also a last minute organiser for things like this, If you can get them do, it's better to be safe than sorry. But some may put you on your back for a night or two. If not ask your GP if they can supply you some tablets for some disease prevention.
    Enjoy your travels!

When we were going on holidays to Barbados in 2007 I asked my doctor about vaccinations. He said none are compulsory, but I could get tetanus and Hep A. I did this just in case, but I really didn't need to. The hotel we stayed in (Crystal Cove) was gorgeous and the people are really friendly. It's not exactly a third world country so you should be fine with no vaccinations!

Enjoy your trip, it's a gorgeous island:)

I was in Barbados 2 months ago. No vaccinations needed whatsoever.
