    Hi Guys.

The wife bought me an Mercedes S280 as my MGF has a snapped gear selector cable, and I am waiting to get one sent over from the UK.

I have a couple of issues I could use some help on....

1: Does anyone know how to remove the radio ( AUDIO 30 ) It does not power on:o, was working before wife bought the car but they changed the battery and may of blown the fuse at the back of the radio.
I have removed the two screws in the ashtray, but the front panel still does not come off.:( Is there any other screws I need to undo before I can remove the panel. Please see photo attached.

2: I bought it down to the local mechanic and he was unable to access the radio, He was checking the fuse and now I have the following dashboard errors...

Cant help with your radio but suggest you try here

    http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk
    www.benzworld.org/forums
    http://www.mercedesforum.com/forum/

9/10 times I have being able find or get help fixing any problems I have had with our mercs.

With regard to the ESP/BAS error messages, they can appear on a w210, of same era, after battery disconnection, which you mention
Its looking for a reset of the sensors.
To reset turn on and rotate steering full lock in both directions 3/4 times.
If this dosent help same messages can appear from a faulty brake switch sensor located at the top of brake pedal.

Cant help with the Defective display mesage, but again try the linked forums

Hope this is of some use
