So i rushed through to book before midnight incase tax was thrown onto my target flight. Wrapped up and payed but SOMEHOW managed to spell my own name wrong, ie Cahal instead of Cathal. What should I do about this? To change will cost a bomb no doubt, will I just wing it? WIll they allow such a typo go ?

    Thanks for any advice

Keep hanging up and phoning back until you get someone who will agree to do it for free. Worked for me.
My mother in law's passport is in her maiden name and I put it in her married name.

Just give them a call. Its a spelling mistake not a name change. I rang them before and they changed it with minimal fuss.

It happened to me too, I booked a flight for my brother but his passport is in Irish. I called into the desk in Shannon and they changed it no problem. They were looking for 120 to change it online!

cheers guys, a customer service rep changed it in 20 seconds, no fuss, guess they do allow some negligence without charge! Human after all!
