Name of game from the 90s

    Ok so i have been online for the last 3 hours trying to find this game! It was back in the 90s and I think we got it as a PC World magazine demo game. In it you drove across america starting in Alcatraz prison in California and you have to battle ghosts. The main character grunts, farts and burps a lot and you have a slingshot as a weapon! California blows up and becomes an island and you travel to Las Vegas etc. I think the game ends in New York!!
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
