Dvd player sound no picture

Don t know if this is the correct forum. Bought a new dvd player and connected to tv with skart lead, Problem is when i switch to ext 1 which is the dvd channel i only have sound but no picture. any help appreciated

Sounds like your scart isnt in fully, try pushin it in usually at the back of the tv or if that doesnt solve it it mite be a faulty lead, check no pins are pushed in at either end of the scart.
