Hi
I am trying to fix a small glass light shade that fits around a halogen g9 bulb. At the end of the glass shade a small metal insert is supposed to be attached to allow it to be screwed onto the fixture.
The problem is that the glues I have tried so far seem to melt.

I need something that works over 250 celcius and all I have gotten seem around 150 max.

anyone any ideas , needless to say I only need a small amount.

B&Q do a heat resistant glass glue (2 part) I used it to mend a broken glass shade on a camping gas light and it worked. The glue discoloured but it stayed fixed.
