What is the cheapest way to travel in Dublin, not using a car.
Are there special tickets or is leap card the cheapest.

A bicycle. Just make sure, you lock it properly :)

It depends on how often you plan to travel. If you're making infrequent journeys then Leap Card is cheaper than paying cash fares.

If you plan to make miltiple trips daily then a prepaid ticket works out cheaper. Check out the websites of Dublin Bus, Luas and Irish Rail for ticket prices.

Unless you can't physically cycle, get a bike! I'd use public transport maybe once a month at most. Dublin is small, the bike is king. (With a good lock)

Moved to Commuting & Transport, probably a more suitable place for your question.

    from where?

From Peru it's probably still cheaper to fly than spend 8 months walking and encuring daily expenses, from Dun Laoghaire its probably cheapest to bike...

Leap card capping of €40 per week for unlimited bus, luas, dart and commuter rail is outrageously good value for money
