Small claims court

    Just wondering.

    If someone knows your work address but not your home address can they put a case into the small claims court against you.

    My work address has nothing to do with the issue at hand and they have been warned by the Gardaí to stop harassing me there.

    Small Claims Court is only for claims against a business. there is no reason why a business address would not be sufficient to claim against a business.

    It's against a private person and not a business. The other party knows where I work and has been threatening all sorts there so much so that he has been warned by the Gardaí to refrain from making contact of any kind with me there.

    I think you answered me though, small claims court is just for cases against a businesses.
