Working backstage for amateur groups

    Hi,

I've been living in Dublin for years and I'm seriously missing being involved in local theatre groups. My life was consumed by the arts when I was living back home and I was involved in every performance I could manage. However, I'm not a performer, I prefer working backstage and spent years on various crews.

I've tried looking up AIMS but there is a host of broken links or unanswered emails.

Does anyone know of any Dublin based societies that would be accepting non-performing new members?

    Morri

this page provides website addresses for a lot of groups. However, many more groups don't have websites. But if you contact the Drama League of Ireland they can help you out.
