Yeah somebody said the same thing in the Steam Sale thread, that before the announcement of a standalone game was made, I would have jumped at ArmA2 Combined Operations at 50% off in the Steam Sale, but now that there is going to be a standalone game, I would rather get that instead

arma2 is still a quality game in its own right. join a decent domination server and you will know what i'm on about. and other mods like ace just .....

As Laviski said above, I bought Arma just for DayZ back in May and have put countless hours into other Arma game modes too.
