Do fas pay for private courses?

    Just wondering if anybody knows do fas pay for non-fas courses? Its a one day a week (sunday), for 5 weeks. The cost is €500. Im on a springboard course at the moment.

    Yes. I got a Technical Employment Grant from Fas for €500 euro to do a 'Train the Trainer' course with the Irish Institute for Training & Development which was 4 days long www.iitd.ie You need to approach your Local Employment Office and get prior approval first. I think you can apply once a year for this grant.
