Astra 2F is suppose to be at 28.2 E approx and testing on BBC 1,reports coming in all over Europe on this one TP. Can someone explain to me why if you check where it is in the sky it shows it still moving West and now at 25.33 East.??????

There is a big thread on 2F on Satellites.co.uk. This is one opinion there:

I read this press release the other day. It suggests that 2F is in its final position. So why does this (http://www.n2yo.com/?s=38778) give a longitude reading of 25.34 (yesterday it was 25.78). I know this topic has been touched on before but, assuming this site is correct, why is it not reading 28.2 ?

Beause the orbital elements are only updated once a week or so. Sometime in the next 2 or 3 days they will be updated and 2F will "jump" back to 28E.

The two-line elements (TLEs) are out of date. Once a new set are released, the correct location will be made available.
