opinions on the new VW Jetta

Has any one experience of the new Jetta. I'm looking to purchase in the new year, and I like the look of the new shape. I had looked at Passats but they are everywhere. I'd be looking at the 1.6 or 2.0 litre diesel model and a year old. Doing motorway milage so a 6 speed is preferable

I quite like the current one, I'd imagine its the same as a mk6 golf, I.e not drastically different to the old jetta.

They haven't sold that well, I'd assuming they're not far off passat money

I was hoping they'd be a good bit less than the Passat money because they've sold poorly.... Ah well.

Ok, cheapest diesel 12 jetta is a base model @20k
Cheapest 12 passat diesel has alloys etc for €21950
