I signed off from Jobseeker's Allowance (finally:D) online 3 weeks ago, and started my new job a week and a half later. When I signed off online it said I would receive a cheque in the post of my final JA payment for my last week and a half of unemployment. However I still haven't received this cheque. Just wondering if anyone knows if it's normal to wait this long or should I have received it by now? Thanks.

I had the same problem last year after signing off online. I just dropped a letter in the post to the local welfare office reminding them of the days I was owed for. Got a cheque by post a week later. Tried ringing but they never seemed to answer.

Might try ringing them then and if not I'll go down the letter route. Thanks:)
