Changing Car Advice

Hi Lads, just looking for a few opinions on here, Earlier this year I bought an 04 almera and while it hasnt given me much trouble, i hate it, it feels very tinny, the radio system drives me nuts and the lights are fairly poor for night driving!!

I previously had a 98 corolla for 4 years which i loved, a boring drive but a solid car and fairly simple to maintain and never gave a days trouble. Im thinking of switching back to a corolla or an avensis but im just wondering if there are any other petrol cars i should look at? Im currently doing about 450 miles a week for work but thats only for the next month or two so dont need a diesel but dont want a car the will drink petrol.

Any opinions welcome for what I should look at and maybe test drive over the next few weeks. Il probably be going down the dealer route and have around 2k to put on top of my almera so i suppose my budget would be around 3.5 - 4k

You had a very good car before. :D

Now, it's not easy to find an avensis which has not been a taxi in good price.

Actually, all the cars made nowadays are not so trouble free as the ones we had before. :(

I'm 100% sure your corolla was made in Japan. New ones are made in UK or Turkey. And unfortunately it's not the same.

Try to find ~2005 corolla made in Japan. It's difficult, but possible. ;)

I'd recommend a Honda Civic, something like this maybe

Far superior car than your Almera.

This one should be available for €4k

Well, go to the search box above, type in "mondeo problem" - you'll see the answer. ;)
