    Hi Folks

I need to pour a little cement to hold up a lamp. its not heavy and is only 6 ft but i dont want it coming down.

I have never poured cement into a frosted ground. Is there an additive for making it go off or will it be fine.

What setting time would i need to give.

    Thanks

The exact base detail required depends on the ground conditions and the actions that the base needs to resist (eg overturning, etc)

Try googling the manufacturer of the lamp (light column). Normally there is guidance given on the minimum base size and depth.

You need to be careful when working with concrete in cold weather

Ah Joey.... a pro like yourself calling it 'cement'. Your slipping up!
