    Hello everybody,
I am conducting a short survey about the implementation of tablet computers in construction projects as part of my thesis for my Bachelor's degree in Construction Science and Management. The survey is fully confidential and individual respondents are not tracked. It would be greatly appreciated if you can take three minutes of your time to take the survey.

If you are interested in the results, feel free to send me a message and I will forward you the results.

    Thank you

Is there a link to take the survey? I have encountered widespread use of the iPad in the UK but almost exclusively for email purposes. I am aware that there are some apps but none that I have come in contact with

    The link has been added.

Here in Canada some companies have started to use tablets in construction sites, mainly to fill out reports and do mark-ups on the drawings, but I'm still not familiar with the available apps.

got to say this - tablets PCs are just not stong enough to build a house out of :D

During our build I carried around all the plans, photos and notes on one - really useful when we wanted "a quick look at a detail"

but our builder much prefered paper as it did not mind getting cement or plaster on it - and could be re-printed if it got wet - tablets are not so forgiving

Research, surveys etc are not permitted on this forum. You can post in the Surveys and non media research forum. Thanks.
