Not micro sd though as far as I can see. Probably why they're trying to get shot of them.

I think this is a very good deal for a bricks and mortar store.

    2 * 16GB class 10 sdhc cards. €24

Your post doesn't really make sense but AFAIK you can get a pro duo adapter for micro sdhc cards, if that's what you're asking.
SD cards are usually used in cameras, camcorders etc, micro sd and micro sdhc in phones, tablets, mp3 players etc, pro duo in games consoles.

Mrs bmaxi has a k750i that she won't part with, it must be 8 years old now so you're not alone. Great phone in it's day.

I can't figure whether paddy is an asshole, or just an idiot.
Mixture of both maybe. Or just both.

Memory Stick Pro Duo is typically a Sony type of card. The "form factor" or shape means that it can only be used in Sony products. So it typically costs more.
You may get an adaptor to allow it to fit into an SD card slot on a laptop for example to copy pictures.

The more generic type of card is an SD card, with smaller Micro SD cards also available.

SD cards are typically used in cameras, tablets, GPS units etc.
Micro SD cards are typically used in phones.

If you're going to upgrade your phone or camera, then unless it's a Sony or Sony/Erricson, it will typically use an SD card (camera) or Micro SD card(phone).

Better to get a device that uses one of these as you have a wider and cheaper choice of cards.

Otherwise you are locked into Sony's cards.

Even if you buy or have Micro SD cards, you can still insert them into an adaptor so that it "becomes" a larger sized SD card which will fit into another device which only accepts SD cards rather than Micro SD.

Hope that makes sense without the pictures.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, I have a Sony/sandisk pro duo card with photo/videos of my deceased father on it which I would love to store/print for my two daughters...can anyone recommend a card reader/adapter which I could get to download the files onto a laptop etc?

So glad I didn't get one off of Amazon, I might just get TWO here. :D

There are lots of these on amazon and ebay.

Here's a one that costs a couple of euro more, but might be worth paying for a recognised brand name as they are files you obviously don't want to lose :) It does say that your card must be 2gb maximum though.
