No time for bike thieves - at all - but that looked a bit extreme. It actually looked like a set-up, in which case I suspect (over here) that the scumbag thief would likely succeed in an assault case if taken against the other guys. I'm sure there that there is most likely a long story behind this one......

That's just offensive. Nobody likes having their bike stolen but to consider a severe beating by several people, several of them armed with weapons, as some form of justice is well and truly screwed up.

Yep a defo set up however if I was walking past I wouldn't try to take the bike so good enough for him.
