Footage here of Plymouth Lifeboat being called to the aid of a kayaker yesterday as storm force 10 winds lashed the SW Britain. Fortunately these guys are willing to put their lives at risk to rescue people in any weather. Still cant understand why someone would go to sea in that weather in any boat, let alone a kayak!

I'd pay some good money to have a play in one of those. So I guess by extension I can understand why other would go out in those conditions.

It could just as easily have been someone playing in the waves in a kayak, never in any difficulty..
