    Hey y'all ,
Am 27 (f) , and have booked my J1 for 2013 the other day. Travelling alone and wondering was anyone in the same boat. Looking to work and enjoy myself , though possibly not as much enjoyment as I would have been up for 10 years ago lol ...... Looking at East Coast (Ocean City) or West Coast (SF) .

Even any advice from previous J1'ers who have done it alone would be greatly appreciated .

    ta :)

Hey that sounds great. I am actually planning on staying Ocean City , seems easy to get work and spend 2 weeks or so in SF before I go home. If travelling on your own, a good tip for meeting people is www.meetup.com . My friend did it and met a great bunch of people. She had to move to SF for work last year.
