HI, I have 3 free range chickens who i keep for their eggs, they lay on average 2 eggs between everyday, I have a light on them for the winter, anyway,

Yesterday i went out and found one of them eating away at a dead rat which my cat must have left for me. Disgusting creatures, anyway i am aware rats carry a multitued of diseases so would that transfer to the eggs?

This is the Food & Drink forum, not the Rat Disease forum. :)

    Try Farming & Forestry.
