    Hi

    Can anyone tell me how to calculat the following

    I have an amount of VAT of €2555 - that Vat rate is 21% - How dod I find the amount that the VAT was calculated on ??

    Price excluding VAT = 100% €12167 (2555 divided by 21 multitplied by 100)
    The VAT = 21% €2555
    Price Including VAT = 121% €14722 (2555 divided by 21 multiplied by 121)

    Working off the old VAT rate there.

    Is this for a test question, or is this an actual business thing?

    There should be no 21% VAT going on in your buiness right now...
