Car Windscreen

    Just wondering ive 2 big cracks in my windscreen i have it insured for that but i want to know do thy replace the rubber around the window aswell as i think it might be letting water in but not sure any advice would be great

    If the windscreen is being replaced then I would imagine the rubber seal around the windscreen would also need to be replaced too as the glass would be bonded to the rubber seal.

    Unless its a very old car, in which case the old style rubber seal would often be reused if in good condition.
    Either way, if you have a leak around the windscreen, you should not have the leak once refitted.
