Hit a pothole there a couple days ago while going 40-50km/ph or so and been having various issues since, don't have a picture handy atm but it's 2.5ft across and a good 9 inches deep (will post pics later).

Wouldn't have hit it but it wasn't marked and was partially submerged in water.

Just wondering has anyone had any luck with this ever ?

    Have pics.
It's a pothole thats been refilled so not a fresh one.
Will be going to mechanic for a quotation on damage this evening.

    Thanks

Contact the council. They are liable for damage caused by potholes and the fact that it was previously repaired means that you have a better chance of getting money off then. If you where the 1st driver to report it you get nothing, but once it's reported subsequent driver's are entitled to compensation.

Yes, i made a claim before to DCC for a similar pothole which resulted in a wrecked tyre. They later posted out a cheque for 100quid which was based on that I forego any further claims on the pothole. They later repaired it properly, no cowboy job like the previous attempt.
