Where can you get heated car seat covers?

Hi all,

Pretty much as the title says. Looked at some on Amazon that got good reviews, but they won't ship it to Ireland. Halfords don't seem to have any (or at least not according to their website, anyway).

Quick search of eBay isn't much help, and a bit of Googling led me to Mick's Garage which also returned no results.


Anyone got any ideas?

I've heard them mentioned on boards a lot, but I don't quite understand how they work.

Do I get my product sent to one of their motels, then hire a courier or such to deliver it from there to me?

It seems Parcel Motel have an Irish and UK based motel, do they move parcels between the two for you?

It seems like an overly complicated process, to be honest, and I don't know the dimensions of the car seat packaging so unsure if it'd fit.


I found a heated car seat massage cover on Maplins, but it's gotten pretty poor reviews I'd have thought things like this would be fairly common enough.

Seems fairly straight-forward, but the same issue again, is can I get them to deliver it to me? I don't fancy a trip to either of their motel locations

In saying that though, it's probably not practical anyway, as the car seat most likely wouldn't fit the dimensions (or would be a very close call).

We recently ordered some stuff from Amazon and used Parcel Motel. They would have delivered to Ireland for these (foot muffs for buggy's), but it worked out cheaper to put in the NI parcel motel address.

Plan was to get them delivered to the Parcel Motel that's a mile from my office and I pass every morning, but the parcel dimension was just a bit too big so herself collected them from the Finglas depot instead. Her feedback was that they were increadibly helpful - carried the parcel out to the car and put it in the boot for her.

If you can't find any other wayto get them, I'd be happy to collect them from the parcel motel near my office and bring them up to Drogheda for you as I live up that way. PM me if you need a hand.

When I was buying my Kindle, amazon.co.uk wasn't delivering to Ireland but amazon.com did. Had to pay customs though. So maybe it's worth trying amazon.com

I just tried one of the heating pads on amazon and it went through to the final order stage no problem. The price is coming up as £6.74 at the moment too even though the main listing says £16.99!

Hmm... He (that seller) mustn't have shown up in my search on Amazon for some reason (tried a few different seat covers but none would dispatch to Ireland).

Ended up buying this one;

As it apparently only works when you sit on it and it gives the cord length in the description (handy, as they all seem to have the cord on the right hand side, meaning it has to go around the drivers seat, so 6ft should be more than sufficient).


Cheers to everyone for the help and mention of Parcel Motel, and particularly to R.O.R for offering to help with delivering it, but I'd rather stick to the straight-forward and simple delivery by Amazon themselves.

It's kind of worrying that they don't mention a power rating for these cushions though. Would be nice to know how much current you are drawing through the cigarette lighter.
