I use the bus, don't really find it dodgy, except for the 66 not showing up occasionally. I tend to be in from 9-6 so only really get the early and late ones though.

The morning bus tends to get in around 8:40, although the odd time it does get delayed by the school kids and gets in about 15 minutes later.

When coming from Maynooth I prefer walking the extra bit of distance up for the 67 rather than getting the 66 on the main street where it's like packing Sardines into a tin.

Bus after 6 tends to take about an hour or so to get back into town, although for some reason on Tuesday traffic in Celbridge is crazy and that can delay it sometimes.

Train is dodgy as hell, but still pretty reliable compared to the bus (no random traffic problems).

unless you have a smart phone that can get the dublin bus app, i'd recomend the train just to avoid the game of russian roulette that happens when the 67 comes first.

    i'd don't always get on the 67

but when I do, the 66 is 2 mins behind it.

I also don't always let the 67 go by

but when I do I had just missed the 66 before it.

Bus is grand I think; I use it to get to work (bus stop is nearer to my house than the train station) and it's usually on time. Train is a good bit quicker though, especially the non-stop Connolly to Maynooth ones.

Apologies for the bump but what are the prices for the train and bus? Return and single to Dublin.

5.80 return for train from Drumcondra, so city centre a little more.
