IS there a way to configure OS X so that I have to type my Wi Fi password each time I connect to my router?

I want to stop the kids having automatic access.

    Thanks.

Enable admin authorisation for turning WiFi on and off in Network prefs > WiFi advanced. Just remember to turn off WiFi when you are finished with it.

But it would be easier to just give them their own user account with parental controls enabled.
