Question about getting another feed into a room

    Hi all
I am Getting some extra wires put down into a new room here.
I want a saorview cable and a freesat cable brought down , (maybe 2 freesat for pvr capabilities)
If I could I might even get a few more freesat cables into one or 2 of the other rooms for a pvr.

Currently I have a satellite dish for DVB-S and a aerial for the DVB-T.
I have five saorview cables, and seven freesat cables at the moment going into different rooms.
In the attic there is a 6 in 1 amplfier, I am not sure if this is for the saorview and the freesat or just the saorview alone?

Anyway what exactly do I need to do?
The wires in the attic are a bit of a mess, so its hard for me to figure out what needs to be done now. How many more feeds could I fit on the existing system.
    I attached a few pics
Also if I am buying cable for the dvb-s and the dvb-t , whats the name of the cables, are they the same only with different endings or are they totally different altogether?
Some of the cables going into the rooms are double barrelled which has saorview and a freesat cable.
Tried to contact a tv dealer for them to do this job but apparently they are booked up until after christmas and I need to get this work done while the electrician is here.
See pics to add to the confusion thanks.

P.S there is an octo lnb, there is seven feeds going into it.

The electrician already brought a rg6 cable down for the tv in the new room, is this for the freesat? If that is a freesat cable I am thinking I might have to run this to the satellite dish to the lnb, and maybe run the saorview cable from the amplifier to the new tv , would this sound right?. Also does a octo lnb limit you to 8 feeds?
    Sorry for all the questions

welcome pangea from your usual weather posting!

Im not 100% sure what you want to do as you seem to have most of it done already?

The more cables you put down to the main room the better (Makes it more future proof). You could put 4 RG6 cables down to each room, giving you 1 saorview feed, 2 satellite feeds and a possible return or a spare. Running some cat 5 also to the main rooms may come in handy for the future too.

RG6 coax is fine for aerial and satellite feeds (Foil shielded) the standard 7mm coax is possibly better than the new 4mm shotgun (Double) type coax.

If you can run them from the attic to the rooms, they will always be there for the future and can easily be connected up to either your terrestrial distribution amp or a satellite dish.

Dont forget to mark each cable up (So you know where they are going) which will make life a lot easier in the future.

An octo has a maximum output of 8 feeds yes. usually more than enough for a standard house.

    Thanks Snaps.
Well all the above work was done last year by a local installer, so I am bit clueless as to what to do now as I said I want one more saorview feed , and 2 freesat feeds to a new room I just got built. Where exactly do these run to?
So the RG6 cables will do for both free sat and saorview, good to know .. 4 in each room you say , where would all these fit onto? I have an octo lnb, that would mean I can only have 8 freesat cables right?
Yes I plan to get CAT5E into two main rooms.
I am a complete noob at this so go easy on me.

The distribution amp. seems to just be wired into the nearby junction box. I would have thought a fused connection unit (FCU) should be used, since the plug & its fuse has been removed? Or just wire a socket & leave the plug.
