I have set up my cut lines and bleed and safety lines in photoshop, using canvas size the guide lines etc but how can I highlight these lines for the benefit of the printer when I save the file as a PDF?. either it be with dashed lines or marquee tool.

    Hope someone understands

    cheers

If you have acrobat pro or indesign or illustrator, placing the photoshop file in there is the way to go.

If you only have photoshop you can't save a PDF file with a trim box but you can save it with crop marks. Here's a Word Doc guide to do this...
