Have a wedding in Jan and wearing a fitted dress, almost pencil type dress. Could I wear black tights and shoes with red dress or would it be better just to go with the fake tan? Thanks :)

personally I would go with the black tights. You could always get a pair of those nice heavy fishnet tights as well - you could wear black over tan tights. I had a wedding recently and picked up a pair of patterned nude fishnets in TK Maxx - I tanned under them so I wasn't deathly white but they looked fine and kept me warm!

Had the same dilemma last year and I opted for the fake tan. Looked way better than tights for the occasion.

I'd go with tights myself, it's probably going to be quite cold and there'll be lots of standing around outside the church, don't want to freeze to death.

Definitely tights. It will be cold and shivering bare legs is not a good look.

Always wear tights - bare legs are not a good look with formal attire. They really only work in summer. (This may seem a bit of old-fashioned advice, but modern attire is getting sloppy at times).

You can go for nude/sheer tights, instead of black.
