Ever just type in a song on youtube followed by 'guitar' to see how all or parts of it are played? I do the odd time when I really can't work out a particular chord or something, there are some pretty good tutorials on there, some not so good but okay. I came across this guy after typing in 'voodoo chile guitar' for a laugh. Phew. Fancy trying it?:p

Done that many times, more frustrated than anything watching the results thinking 'wish I could do that so perfectly', searching for Little Wing on youtube is how I came across my favorite teacher on youtube. Then I seen his full performance lesson of All Along The Watchtower.

Best cover of it I've come across, actually coming on quite a ways in learning it thanks to his lessons, I know all the solos etc just need to practice it more!

Quick fact on how **** the Hendrix estate is, they made him take his Jimi Hendrix lessons down because they didn't want him making money off them, even though they were his free song lessons. He's putting a few up again and not putting them on his site, only on youtube.

And here is the Little Wing cover, it's so good, damn I love that song!

Just to stop this thing turning into a Jimi Hendrix thread ;), which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but all the same....

    I just remembered another guy!

    http://www.youtube.com/user/gr8bluesgtr?feature=results_main

Steviesnacks.com is his website, he's a huge Stevie Ray Vaughan fan and has tons of lessons on his techniques and the likes, also a good website if you are interested in learning SRV songs cause some of his techniques are difficult enough if you try figure them out yourself.

He has more than just SRV though. Still Carl Brown is the man!

If only i had such a resource when i was starting to play, 30 years in , self taught and still terrible!!

Anyhoo, this lad is one of my favs, check out his "money for nothing".

If you have time look for his version of "No more tears" for a cool lesson in slide technique
