I recently purchased a Thule kit for my Megane 3dr, previously had a hatch mounted 3 bike system but didn't like it because of the rather large bumper on the car.

The Roof kit is brilliant, and the pro rider kit slips on and off with ease. I'm leaving it on as it means I have no excuse not to pop the bike on and head off for a spin up the mountains or off to meet the lads I cycle with the weekends. Plus I got 15% off with an AXA card in Halfords and a discount for ordering online........

Dont put your bike on the roof of the car, you'll forget it's there and drive into a height restricter pole in a car park. :o:o

    I use two of these:

    http://www.halfords.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_11101_catalogId_15551_productId_250961_langId_-1_categoryId_212597

Used them twice a week and for trips home to Donegal, with mountain bikes, bmxs, road bikes and track bike. Never had a problem with them, and they're a lot cheaper than the Thule ones. Think one is about 65.
