Could anyone recommend a nice B&B beside Fota Island resort? Heading to a wedding in a couple of weeks and want to avoid spending €200 on a room for a couple of boozy hours of sleep

    Thanks

Radisson in Little Island is probably the closest Hotel option.
There's a couple of B & Bs' along the Cork-Midleton route but nothing very close to Fota afaik.
Google Carrigtwohill B & Bs' and it throws up a couple of options.
Carrigtwohill would be the nearest small town/village so should have something suitable.

Try the Commodore Hotel in Cobh.It would probably be cheaper than the Raddison as mentioned above. Its about 10min drive away, about €10/15 in a cab.

There are two hotels in Cobh

The Commodore Hotel as mentioned above and The Waters Edge both in the town centre.

There are also eight or ten B&B's see here www.hotels.com/Cobh_B&B

All within a 10/15 min taxi ride with the taxi cost being the same 10/15 euros.

The Fota resort also has shallet apartments so if your going with some mates then maybe you could rent one of these and save yourself another few bob.

    Best of luck with it.

Midleton is as close if not closer than Cobh, with the Midleton Park Hotel, several B&Bs and a Hostel to keep the cost down even more.
