I wonder could all the Boards teams muster a squad capable of beating some of the minor NT teams. List here your representative player/s and his position/s that they might fill on the Boards team.

    Colm O'Cahan (24) CSR 143,248 F/R
    Peadar Ó Laighléis (22) CSR 233,190 B/R
    Ysbrand Hartog (21) CSR 134,959 S/R

    Backs

    Pat Mustard (25) CSR 294,526 Centre/Scrumhalf
    Igor Favaloro (26) CSR 185,610 S/H

    Cool idea!

    ... but I've no representative. :D

    Good idea.

    Cian O'Keane 20 y/o 169,796 CSR 185cm 124kg

He would be my best chance at representative..I do have a 177k Second Row but only just purchased him and he is an oldie so wouldn't be in the spirit of the game.

Assume one of the older boardsies like Orizio would simply dominate this team.

    Neil Stringer 28 CSR 191,927 o/h or f/b
    Anthony O'Moldory 23 CSR 173,448 centre
    Kieran MacAteer 22 CSR 166,888 CSR B/R

Wouldn't be overly suprised if none made it but are my current best options

    Padraig Devlin 23 153,043 CSR 205cm 116kg

Saved up like a ba*tard to buy him and just get rid of 1 reserve player to accomodate his wages. He destroyed div 2 teams almost single handedly. Finding it tougher in div 1 without the support of other players of his calibre though.

And what if he gets injured?

Moved the posts to Q&A lads, just to keep it all tidy. Carry on!

Then the half dozen other 200k+CSR players i have will have to get on with the job! The team doesnt revolve around any one player, anyone can be replaced, but having players of that calibre is a huge asset.

Are you training him Johnny? I have both Mustard and OL on 10 nets each so their energy means they are not much use to me! I can't wait to stop training them as my team plays to a different level on Thursdays with the guys on full energy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,108 ✭✭✭johnnysmack

No not training him. Got him to be "that player" that can drag the rest of your team to another level and he has done that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,406 ✭✭✭Phonehead

Ya, credit to any manager in Ireland who sticks with training a guy past the 300k mark. I can still finish in the top 2 in Div II in Canada without my superstars so it's not much of a commitment for me.

I just remembered that ajeff started a thread when he bought/early in his training of Lavis. He's been going on about him forever! :D

Edit: look how shocked we all were at an 18 yr old at 26k csr! Times certainly have changed in br!

I'm so sick of hearing about/playing against Lavis! :pac:

Yeah, remember when a 17 year old at 13k csr was a viable investment.
