I am in the market for a small van and am looking at the likes of a berlingo or an opel combo. Will be taxing it private so a 1.9 is out of the question. Any advice pros or cons on a combo or berlingo? what other options are there?

If you we're going up the years you can get an Opel combo 1.3 cdti which is only 330 a year to tax that's all I pay for my Astra van. You can also get the likes of the berlingo partner in a 1.6hdi or a kangoo in 1.5dci but the tax will be higher. It really depends on how new you are going as some of them above vans weren't available until 2007 with them engines. Hope this helps.

The older renaults had a Delphi fuel system which was a disaster. But I thought any Renault after 2006 had no problems with injectors as they changed I could be wrong. The Opel 1.3cdti has Bosch injectors which don't give and trouble. I always found post 2006 renaults commercials to be reliable my dad has had a fair few Renault commericals and they were reliable.

I think berlingos were being used in 2009 and that's what would be going through this year not the Renault kangoos..

Biper/fiorino? Great on fuel, look well and have surprisingly good space. Also seen good for big mileages.

be very wary of Wilsons, you would want to be prepared to spend more fixing problems after you buy from them. Absolute cheap hustlers. half the stuff is junk
