Interested, where are you based? Are the handlebars set quite low? They almost look like track handlebars.

I think he's fitted the levers in a weird position on the ramps and turned the bar a lot more forward than they would normally be.

you'd have to unwrap the bar tape, re-set the levers and then re-wrap the tape to fix it, not a whole lot of effort really.

Sorry I've gone with an online purchase.

Hi there. Just saw the message now. Not an expert on bikes just selling for my brother who has emigrated but i do know he never really got a chance to put the bike together properly. There is obviously a bit of fine tuning as the previous poster has kindly pointed out. Thanks for your interest, pity i didnt see it sooner, good luck with your new bike

    The handlebars are fine.

No need to un-tape them or readjust the position of the levers.

The handlebars are just angled down, loosen the stem bolt, turn them up to

    desired level and re-tighten.

Nice bike. Good luck with sale.

Thanks mate. Glad to see you got your purchase today. Thanks for the good wishes.

Well, no. from this it's fairly obvious that the levers are on thr top of the hooks and end of the ramps instead of lower on the hooks, which means when you turn the bars so that the ramps are horizontal and parallel to the ground, the levers will not be vertical like they should be, with the hoods level with the ramps, but at a weird angel and unusable.

But like I said, it's not much effort to fix it, and it is a lovely bike, an absolute steal at €1000.

Looks tasty. But I am yet to use my 'bike to work' option, so I could get it cheaper & newer under the scheme. However if you can drop your asking to below what it would cost on bike to work to me, I would be interested - but I have a feeling that it might be too much of a drop.

    It's €1300 new.

You won't get it any cheaper than that anywhere at that spec.

Not sure if we are communicating clearly there Seaneh. If it is €1300 brand new, under bike to work, it would cost me (1000 - 1000 * 52%) + 300 = 880 euro, brand new with warranty etc. Am I missing something?

I just didn't consider the bike to work there was all.

You can get the same bike with an Apex groupset for 1150, which would be €680 after bike to work reduction. just so you know.
