Problem with empty advert constantly appearing

    Since yesterday morning I keep getting an empty advert frame on the right hand side of my screen on two sites I visit, a farming one and a hunting one.

    I've downloaded and ran superantispyware and Malwarebytes anti malware, and restarted my laptop, but it's still there :confused: What is it and how do I fix/kill it please?

    does the advert occur when you use a different browser on the site ?


    do this

    Download OTL to your Desktop
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files here

    I downloaded Chrome, the problem doesn't seem to be on that browser.

    I will do the OTL thing tomorrow, flaked out tonight, will report back then, thanks very much for the help :)

    If you have an adblocker set on your browser you will get blanks rather than adverts. That's the whole purpose of an add blocker.
