New battery - ford focus

    Hi all,

I had the battery replaced in my mums focus this morning.

Just noticed that the power windows now only work for opening the windows.

To close the windows I have to keep my finger on the button.

Is there anyway I can fix this or should I return to where I got the battery replaced? Or is this just a coincidence?

    Thanks,

    Gar

Most Focii have the auto-down only on the drivers side window except for the Titanium and Ghia specs.

Yes it's a ghia spec I think. Windows definitely had auto up...

Also just noticed the auto up function isn't working when I hold down the lock button on the key fob...

hold the button in the up position untill the window closes and then release the switch, then pull the switch up again and hold for 10 sec s and release this should reset it.
