I'm talking about the lies that you know the person knows are untrue, and the person knows you know you're talking ****é but you say them anyway.

"Yeah I'll tell the oul' fella you were asking for him"

"I never saw your missed call"

"Yeah it's been too long, I'll call you next week and we'll meetup!"

"Ah yeah I saw that film" (usually because you don't want to hear their stupid narration of said movie that you'll never watch)
