    I know it's a long shot, but anyone know if any pubs in the city centre are likely to be available to book space on the 14th of December? Preferably with platters...

    The Baggott Inn or just down the road, Toners has a nice smallish function room/bar in the basement. Both do platters.

    The Odeon reopens tomorrow and are taking bookings for xmas. you may get in there as a lot of people dont know its reopen.

    The Damson diner as well on South William street.
