    I know there have been several postings on this before but i am going to throw something out there. What if Lori is not dead, she was some how rescued by the same people that are on the phone talking to rick and they are perhaps in a different part of the prison. might seem mad but there are a number of reasons behind this theory;
    1) the show never showed carl shoothing his mother. I would not like to see this and i dont think it would make for good viewing but they could have showed his face when he pulled the trigger
    2) Lori's body was never found even though there was a dead walker in the room. by the way who would have kileld this walker? there were no walkers about after the baby was born in this part of the cell
    3) who was ringing rick on the phone? i dont think it was just his imagination
    4) i didnt read the books but i dont think lori died in these and if so it would have been too much of a departure from the books.
    5) i think the show has lost a lot of its main characters through deaths so Lori would have been one too many.

    I just think there are too many unanswered questions in relation to Lori and it would set it up nicley for the mid season finale!

    1) Carl told Daryl that he shot his mother before she turned. There's no reason to believe he lied about that.
    2) The walker wasn't dead. He was just too stuffed from his last meal (Lori) to move. Rick killed it.
    3) It would appear that Rick was hallucinating.
    4) Comic Book spoiler:
    Lori and the baby die in the comics albeit in a different way.
    5) It title of the show refers to the characters and not the walkers so expect deaths a plenty. :pac:

    Rick was distraught and borderline insane after her death and even he knew how far gone he was when he heard Lori's voice. Why do you think he didn't answer her at the end of the conversation?

    Lost this ain't.

    It would be a total cop-out if Lori isn't dead as it would take so much away from the end of the episode where she died, in particular the devastation heaped upon Rick. It would be their version of Bobby Ewing stepping out of the shower.

    But rest assured Lori-haters...she is gone and she ain't coming back! (I didn't mind her at all, by the way...)

    Also, the other voices on the phone before Lori were from other dead mebers of the group like Andrea's sister, the guy who they left tied to a tree and the woman who stayed at the CDC.
