Start applying for internships in January/February for the big firms. They will also give contracts to people without all fe1s done. If you are looking at small/medium sized firms, youll pretty much need to have all fe1s done and be ready to go.

Firstly you really need to read the stickies and learn to use the search function.

I'm pretty sure some, if not all of the FE1s, are required but I'm open to correction.

I'm certain you dont need any fe1s to apply for the top 5. Obviously you need them before you start.

Yeah I'm nearly sure you don't need any of the FE1's for the big firms. I think some people in their final year of college can be sometimes offered TC's. Obviously subject to them passing the FE's within a certain time, but it means they can get to work straight away with the firm and they usually give you some time off before the exams for study and preparation.

That's only what I've gathered from reading threads and hearing it from others, open to correction too.
